Principals / Leaders of The Albrecht Group
Robert Albrecht
Robert has experience in the areas of logistics, management,
operations and executive search. He started his career in the
U.S. Army as a Transportation Corps Officer serving in various
command and staff positions to include the U.S. Transportation
Command, Center for Army Analysis, and U.S. Army Recruiting
Command. After his military career, Lieutenant Colonel Albrecht
held management positions within the transportation services
industry. He later joined a large executive search firm and
became a successful Account Executive prior to forming The
Albrecht Group with his partner Richard Duley.
Robert has a Master of Science degree in Systems Management
from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Business Administration from Marquette
University.
Richard Duley
Richard is a Certified Personnel Consultant and has over 20
years experience in the search industry. He started as a
recruiter, became an account executive and later Vice President
and general manager of an executive search firm with three
offices and a staff of thirty-six people.
His earlier career included sales management and marketing management roles with a "Fortune 100" corporation. Richard is Vice President of the firm.
He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Business from the University of the State of New York.
Steve East
Steve joined The Albrecht Group with a background in human
resources. He was Manager of Employee Relations at Cooper
Industries and later was the Manager of Human Resources for
Toshiba Battery Pack. During his career he had roles in
Materials Management and Information Services and has been in
management with Cooper Industries, Static Control Components,
Eagle Electric, and Toshiba. He is the Director of Business
Development and Recruiting for the Electrical Products
Industries.
Steve, a Navy veteran, earned his Master of Administrative
Science from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and his BA
in Accounting and Computer Science from Anderson University.
Gordon White
Gordon White joined The Albrecht Group as a Senior Account
Executive specializing in the chemical industry. He brought 26
years of sales and marketing experience with him.
He started his career with Morton Thiokol Corp (now Rohm &
Haas) as a Sales Representative and later became a Marketing
Manager for the Powder Coatings Group. In 1994, he joined
Certainteed Corp as the Product Marketing Manager for Industrial
and Commercial Products and after four years he joined Owens
Corning as a Market Development Manager for their Insulation
Systems Business.
He is now the Director of Business Development and Recruiting
for the Chemical and Related Industries for the firm.
Gordon has an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from Purdue University.
Herschel Miller
Herschel joined The Albrecht Group after 21 years with Nortel
Networks. At Nortel he held various positions culminating as
Director of New Business Development. He is the Director of
Business Development and Recruiting for Medical Device and Paper
Industries.
Herschel has a BA degree in Social Sciences from Campbell
University.
David Sweitzer
Prior to joining The Albrecht Group, Dave was with IBM where he
was an engineer and then moved into management with roles in
manufacturing, production control and supply logistics. As the
Manager of Manufacturing Engineering he was selected as "Manager
of the Year" for IBM at Research Park, NC. His current role at
The Albrecht Group is Director of Business Development and
Recruiting for the Plastic and Rubber Industries.
Dave has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh
University and a Masters Certificate in Project Management from
George Washington University.
Mark Brady
Mark has over 20 years of recruiting and organizational development experience. He has held senior leadership positions at both small and large companies, including Procter & Gamble, Ciba-Geigy and Novartis. Prior to joining The Albrecht Group, Mark was Vice President of Marketing at Sunrise Senior Living. He has been responsible for up to 150 people and $400 million in revenue. He is now Director of Business Development and Recruiting for selected industries with special emphases in the Life Sciences.
Mark has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maine.
Blake Gibson
Blake started his career as an owner agriculturalist and a
produce broker and then joined his father in the Insurance
Agency business. Later he formed and operated his own successful
State Farm Insurance Agency. He now is a Senior Account
Executive specializing in the Food Industry.
Blake has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Albert Manson
Albert is an Industrial Designer and has worked in a variety of
design disciplines from print and marketing collateral to
interactive/multimedia pieces. His design career was freelance
based and gave him the opportunity to work for several
organizations and advertising agencies. He also has been a
contributing cartoonist for local publications.
Prior to joining The Albrecht Group he worked for the School
of Communication Arts in Raleigh, NC where he traveled a three
state region to promote the school. He also was responsible for
developing marketing strategies and promotional materials. He is
a Senior Account Executive handling one of the firm’s industry
sectors.
Albert has a Bachelor of industrial design from North
Carolina State University.
Eileen Patrick
Eileen was a store executive with Target Stores for several
years and was recruited away to join the Lowe’s Home Improvement
Stores where she was the operations manager for one of the
chain’s largest stores.
She joined The Albrecht Group in year 2005 and is a Senior
Account Executive handling one of the firm’s industry sectors.
Eileen is a magna cum laude graduate from North Carolina
State University with a BA degree in Communication.
Mehmet Goktan
Mehmet is an Information Management Application Support Manager
with customer service management experience. He has experience
in application management, incident/problem management, change
management, customer relationship management and database
management. He spent ten years with Hewlett-Packard Corp (Compaq
/ Tandem Computer Corp.). He was an Information System Analyst,
IM Manager and a Business System Analyst while with HP. He is a
Senior Account Executive handling one of the firm’s industry
sectors.
In his earlier career he was a commissioned officer in the
Turkish Army and had several assignments as a project manager
and system analyst while assigned to NATO Headquarters in Izmir
Turkey and Naples Italy.
Mehmet is a graduate of the Turkish Army Military Academy and
had a Certificate from the Middle Eastern Technical University.
He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration (MIS Major) from the University of Arizona.
Richard Davis
Richard joined The Albrecht Group to lead the firm’s entry into the insurance industry and to expand the firm’s business in the Communications and Electronic Industries. He spent 15 years with a Search Firm in New York City and was instrumental in taking that firm’s recruiting efforts into additional areas. In his earlier career he was a Finance & Insurance Manager and a property damage Adjuster with two prominent adjusting firms in New York. He is a Senior Account Executive specializing in the Communications Industry, the Electronic Industry as well as the Insurance Industry.
Richard has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami where he majored in Physical Education.
David Fox
David was a Division Controller for Armor Holdings, Inc for
nine years prior to joining The Albrecht Group. Prior to Armor
Holdings he was Vice President of Sales for a privately-held
manufacturer of innovative consumer lighting products. In his
earlier career he was a Division Controller for Thomas
Industries and AMCA International Corporation and he was a Plant
Controller for Rockwell International Corp. He is a Senior
Account Executive handling one of the firm’s industry sectors.
David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from John
Carroll University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Rick Sawin
Rick came to The Albrecht Group after a twenty year career in sales and marketing roles. He is now a Senior Account Executive responsible for an industry sector.
In his previous position he was a sales manager for the nation’s largest and leading lawn care company and prior to that he was Director of Marketing for Resorts Marketing Concepts in Orlando, Florida.
As a former hiring manager and with a degree in Social Sciences, Rick understands the process and is excellent at finding the right candidate for a position.
Lewis Brewer
Lewis joined The Albrecht Group after spending 30 years working in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. His last position was Director of Purchasing for the Global Fabrics Group of Collins & Aikman, where he was employed for 24 years. Other key positions held by Lewis were in Quality and Marketing. He is now a Senior Account Executive handling on of the firm’s industry sectors.
Lewis has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University.
Steve Nashland
Steve joined The Albrecht Group after a 20-year background in finance, manufacturing and supply chain management. During his career he worked at Arthur Andersen, Bausch & Lomb and Stryker Corporation. While at Stryker, Steve was the Director of Global Supply Chain Management.
Steve has a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Denver and a BA in Business Management from Union College.
